Cosmetics firm reveals details of a range of new products that can alter your facial expression however you feel on the inside

Cosmetic companies have been making bold claims for what their products can do for a long time but the latest announcements from Embrosian are sure to raise a few eyebrows. In their latest press statement they say that they are about to release a range of cosmetic creams that can 'change the emotional content of your facial appearance'. One cream, they say, will literally put a smile on your face however far down in the dumps you are feeling on the inside. According to the company the active ingredients stimulate certain nerve endings and clusters and in so doing cause a prolonged rearrangement of specific facial muscles.

“We are delighted with the results that we have been getting from the new Affectolene+ compound developed in our laboratories.” said Embrosian ambassador Selitha C. “My own particular favourite is the Senator Oil which is for both men and women and is for use in any kind of situation where you might be nervous or ill at ease: say a big interview or presentation. If you need to lose that look of lack of confidence, the rabbit in the headlights look, this lotion will make your face calm and dignified, You'll look totally in control. But really the whole range is going to be a game changer for the cosmetics industry.”

Lifestyle guru, Marcus Thorsen, who is endorsing the new products, says, "We are always told never to judge a book by its cover. Unfortunately, when it comes to interpersonal encounters and relationships, that is exactly what most people do. I think these products will liberate people. They will allow them to present the face to the world that they want. Also, there is a strong correlation between the actual surface image and a person's self-image and confidence. These products are basically smart suits or haute couture for the face."

Embrosian say they expect to be ready to release details of the full range next month.
