Social media service 'will do it all for you'

A new service enables online content to be automatically uploaded without the user needing to think of anything to say

Software design company Red EyeT has come up with a useful tool for anyone who posts regularly on social media. Posting, tweeting, uploading, responding to messages can be a time consuming exercise and often requires the user to come up with something interesting, clever, or funny to say. This new system, called Predictive Posting, will do all that for you. The makers say that you only have to sign up once and fill in an online form which asks you about your preferences relating to a range of subjects. The site will also remotely scan your previous postings and tweets and build up a profile of your most likely responses.

Developer Seth Harrel says "We can get a pretty accurate picture of what you think about most things. How you would react to certain types of picture, whether you like certain references, how you respond to friends and family photos, what makes you laugh, etc. We don't think many people will be able to tell the difference before and after." Asked how he thought it would work if everyone used his new service, with computer speaking to computer, Mr Harrel laughed off the question, saying: "I guess we'd make a lot of money."
